Minimum Wage
The minimum wage in Israel (updated 1 April 2026) is 6,443.85 ILS/month or 35.40 ILS/hour. Thai workers are entitled to the same minimum wage under Israeli law. Overtime: first 2 hours 125%, thereafter 150%.

Overtime and Rest
Overtime Pay
- •Regular workday: up to 8 hours
- •1st and 2nd extra hour: 125% of regular wage
- •3rd hour and beyond: 150% of regular wage
- •Work on rest day (Saturday/Friday): 150% per hour
- •Weekly rest: at least 36 consecutive hours

Vacation, Sick Leave and Holidays
Annual Leave
- •First work year: 14 vacation days
- •Years 2–3: 16 days
- •Years 4–10: 18–21 days
- •Unused vacation days can be redeemed for cash
- •Vacation is also paid at the end of employment
Sick Leave
- •1.5 sick days per work month (18 days/year)
- •First sick day: unpaid
- •Second day: 50% of wage
- •Third day and beyond: 100% of wage
- •Doctor's note required
Holidays
Workers are entitled to 9 paid holidays per year (Israeli holidays). Working on a holiday entitles to full pay + an additional 50% or an alternative day off.
Severance Pay
A worker dismissed after at least one year of work is entitled to severance pay — one monthly salary per year of work. This right also applies to foreign workers.
